\n\n\n\n\n\nENGLISH \n\n\n\nOn June 9\, the California Community Land Trust Network will host a storytelling session exploring how CLTs are engaging in solidarity with Indigenous communities across California. \n\n\n\nThis session will feature Indigenous-led and co-led initiatives using community land trusts to advance Land Back\, rematriation\, reparations\, food sovereignty\, and cultural revitalization. Through case-based storytelling\, speakers will share how these efforts are being shaped through partnerships\, coalition-building\, and community-led governance\, as well as the challenges and opportunities they are navigating in the current political context. \n\n\n\nThe discussion will also highlight lessons on building meaningful relationships with tribal communities and explore how CLTs can support Indigenous leadership and self-determination. Participants will be invited to reflect on their own experiences and identify pathways for strengthening solidarity and collective action. \n\n\n\nDesigned for CLT practitioners\, community members\, and others engaged in land and housing justice\, this session will offer grounded insights and opportunities for shared learning. The event will be conducted in English\, with interpretation available in Spanish and live captions available in 60+ languages to support accessibility. \n\n\n\nThe global #CLTVirtualSummit2026 is a six-week series of free online events running May 5 – June 10\, 2026\, and anchored by World CLT Day on May 15.
